Woah nelly!

I have a great appreciation/addiction to dubstep and can make everything around it but can't seem to hit that wobble right. I'm going to look into NI massive and see what it can do. You hit that drop just right though. This would probably rock my subs..

If it's remastered..

It's a pretty nice melody with the lead. One thing is that the bass will keep running off on it's own tangent and go off key with the lead. If it stayed on key it would sound like a good rock song. But mainly if it's remastered, why is it all still lame midi sounding? Sounds like you used guitar pro and with the little effects they have in the program it probably sounds great. Translate this to a different program with better instruments and bam. Awesome.

Yes sir

I'm a huge fan of the original song already so anything remotely related is already a plus in my book. Damn well executed remix. You have a very good auto-tuned voice. Perfect for applications such as this. Another thing I found amazing was your seamless transition from one time signature/rhythm to the next. It was definitely a remix but didn't lose the feel of the original. Excellent.

Thanks for the review man :D

Haha.

I have to give you credit for your lyrics. Pretty clever. I like em. The whole thing is put together really well with the vocals mixed in. Only thing I have to be a stickler about is that the beat is kinda cheesy..which in this case I guess works. Digging the white boy rap thing too lol.

chacolah responds:

Thanks. thats kinda what i was going for

Why is it a compilation?

For starters, the whole beat is a big murky mess accompanied by your typical male stripper "boom tss" lol. At some point it sounds like you changed kicks to I'm guessing the FL Kick? It clicks pretty hard if you don't change it and without anything else to go with it, it's tacky. The piano could stand the not be in it though. I don't know. Honestly it's pretty bad.

Morph94 responds:

Eh. Matter of opinion, mate. It really isn't my best, though. :D

Strong advice.

For future reference, do your best to avoid the FL stock sounds. About 99% of people who make beats have heard pretty much all of them and they're all super cheesy. If you must use one, at the very least edit it in some way such as a cut filter or change the wave shape in the instrument editor. I do like how the drums drive it but like he says it sounds like one big build up. The actual melody of it could be pretty hardcore if done right. Unfortunately, a lot of your notes aren't in key with each other and they clash pretty hard. Try the VST Sytrus. You hardly go wrong with that starting off.

Very nice!

You make it very apparent you know what the hell you're doing! Though I may not burn a cd of this for my own personal listening, I like to enjoy the skills of other artists. It may be the way it's supposed to be and maybe I'm just tired but it seems hella fast. I agree with you on the solos. They had me pretty surprised as I imagined some excessively anime person banging away on a keyboard. Then OH SNAP a second key change. Nice work.

Indigorain responds:

Whoah, thanks for the great review man! :D
True, it's pretty fast, 180 Bpm.
But I'm really thankful for your awesome review man, it means a lot! :D

I'm rather conflicted

If I'm just listening to the notes themselves and not the extreme overload of stock FL vocal sounds then it's really good. Like the drums and mixing and everything are pretty solid just the decision to use mainly non-instruments as..well..instruments that gets me. Seems like you know what you're doing though.

DJTechElric responds:

Thanks for the Comment! Yea i mostly used stock sounds to prove a point to friend. Seeing as you gave me an 8 id say its point proven. I just started working on a new project that contains nothing from FL. Keep an eye cuz it shouldnt be but two weeks max and i should be done, but it might take longer. Again i appreciate the comment.

Great pacing.

Perfectly fits that classical theme. I like how it's got the right blend of minor/major and such. I was going to say it sounds like you made this in Reason, but it threw me off with those pizzicato strings. I always have a hard time finding ones that don't sound 100% cheesy and fake. Great job with this.

Lublub194 responds:

Well. Sir, you are quite impressive. This is definitely reason. I just happen to have the ability to ultra tweak stuff. I added a bunch of delay to them, and shortened it to about 200ms, to make sure the pizzicato strings had more fullness.

Thanks for the review man! Really appreciate it!

Now thats something I never hear on here

Always fun listening to reggaton besides that same "doom kedoom ke" beat. Every part you named is there too. If only you had some cholo to throw a bunch of crazy sounding lines on here.

Alright so im just youre average white guy with nothing to do but to sit on his ass and do nothin. With the slight exception of the occasional party or two?
